Last night, we sat at a business meeting at church.  During our business meeting, we discussed how people seem to never have time.

Isn't it funny how when it is something you want to do, you have time to do it.  I want to teach the children on Wednesday nights, so I have time to do it.  I want to teach Sunday School, so I make time to do it.  It is funny, that we can never add time to our day, but always want more time added to it.

Teaching is much like life, we find time in our day, to do the things we are passionate about.  It is funny how we always push off what we don't enjoy ourselves.  As teachers, we need to get over this, and be well rounded.  If we show that we love something our students will to, if we don't, our students will not develop a love for learning in that particular subject area.

Just a thought!

A New Year has started, and new journeys have begun.  A new semester approaches, and a new excitement lingers.  I am ready to start the year out right, and end it with a graduation that has been in the making for some time now.

Tuesday, I started my new field placement at Lakes Elementary School, part of Rockford Public Schools.  I Love It!  I am eager to get to know the students better, and get to know the teachers more.  I am looking forward the the new class, and all the joys it brings.
